When it comes to creating a deeper understanding of your Human Design, it can be helpful to combine the elements of your chart at a high level with keynotes. In this exercise I utilize the information on what the energies of the Planets represent as well as bringing in elements of the Gates, Lines, and Circuitry.
Planets
Here are descriptions, in the form of the beginning of statements, on what each of the Planets (as well as the Moon, North, and South Node) represent in your Human Design BodyGraph.
Gates
Gates are the numbers lit up, or activated, in your chart. You experience all 64 Gates to some degree, but the active Gates are energies you have defined. They give insight into your gifts, strengths, personality, challenges, and themes in relationships. There are many different books and resources out there that explore the energy of each Gate. If you enjoy the way I explain Human Design, you may find value in utilizing my Human Design Gate and Channel Guide when working on this exercise.
Lines
Every Gate has 6 themes, or Lines, that cover its progression. The Line is the number that appears after the decimal for each Gate. For example, my Conscious Sun is in Gate 14, Line 1. This is displayed on my chart as 14.1. Each of the Lines has specific qualities and attributes associated with it. Below are some keynotes, and a sample statement, for the Lines in your Human Design chart.

Bringing It All Together
Below is how I have pulled together the information above to create statements about each of my conscious placements as an example of how to bring this information together.
When it comes to my unconscious placements, I used the same formula but I shift the language to start with a form of "Others witness me being..." since we are often not as aware of this energy within ourselves. Also worth noting is any place you have a 6th line, your energy looking towards the energy of the next Gate in the Rave Mandala. You can see an example of that in the statement about my Conscious Mars.
I shine my fullest expression through being introspective and building a foundation for security when it comes to how I obtain and use my material resources in ways that empower others. (Conscious Sun, Gate 14.1)
I am grounded by being introspective and building a foundation for security when it comes to how I make my individual contribution and empower others. (Conscious Earth, Gate 8.1)
I am heading toward a life of continuously adapting and experiencing trial and error when it comes to how I allow others into my aura, and enter into theirs, supporting them using my awareness of feelings, moods, and sensitivity. (Conscious North Node, Gate 6.3) Fun fact, I am recently post-Uranus Opposition so I am already here.
I am coming from a life of continuously adapting and experiencing trial and error when it comes to how I grow from emotional crises and meet challenges without overwhelm, which I then share with others. (Conscious South Node, Gate 36.3)
I am driven by connecting deeply with others when I externalize and empower them with transformative, inspirational energy while delivering potent messages that express my emotions. (Conscious Moon, Gate 12.4)
I communicate about how I am introspective and building a foundation for security when it comes to how I translate and transmit information, selling with integrity to support those in my community. I may not fully see the entirety of this energy because it is veiled by Neptune. (Conscious Mercury, Gate 26.1)
I find value and beauty in continuously adapting and experiencing trial and error when it comes to how I instinctually draw in others to support their material success, health, and well-being. (Conscious Venus, Gate 44.3)
I am maturing when it comes to being seen as wise, yet still seeking what I can fully trust, around sharing my ability to focus on details. This also involves staying true to my own timing around fixed rhythms of ritual and routines. (Conscious Mars, Gate 9.6 looking over the roof to 5.1)
My personal law for expansion is in how I project out that I am a natural at retreating for privacy to gather my thoughts and explore my memories in order to share with others when called out. (Conscious Jupiter, Gate 33.2)
I am challenged and disciplined by how I project out that I am a natural when it comes to taking in a constant flow of inspiration to pull realizations from later, and I accept there is a sense of confusion around how that will occur when finally called out to share with others. (Conscious Saturn, Gate 64.2)
I can be unusual when it comes to people projecting on me that I am able to face problems and bring practical solutions around shining with authentic creativity and self-expression in order to empower others. (Conscious Neptune, Gate 1.5)
I may not fully see how I am introspective and building a foundation for security when it comes to how I translate and transmit information, selling with integrity to support those in my community. (Conscious Neptune, 26.1)
I experience potential truth and transformation by connecting deeply with others to externalize my intuitive insights and self-empowerment. (Conscious Pluto, Gate 57.4)
I hope you enjoy playing around with this information to develop a more holistic understanding of the energies you have within you. Remember, if you have Gates in a defined Center, you will have consistent access to those energies. Gates in undefined Centers will experience the energy at different times, depending on interactions with others and the movement of the Planets in the transits.
